JHABUA DEVELOPMENT COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT (JDCP)

JDCP Experience in ITP

JDCP ITP started on October 25, 1996. Initially, JDCP ITPs used the extended C-band transponder of INSAT - 2 C and now the extended C-band transponder of INSAT - 3B is being used.

JDCP Interactive Training Programmes are meant for the specific training groups of different departments of Jhabua district. DECU helped the various user departments of Jhabua district in software planning and generation of video material for JDCP ITPs.

Some of the beneficiaries of ITPs conducted are panchayat members, anganwadi workers, farmers, primary health workers, dais, primary teachers, unemployed youth, DRDA officials, forest guards/ officials, women's savings groups & hand-pump mechanics.
