The INSAT Master Control Facility (MCF) of the Department of Space is the multi-mission Control Centre providing telemetry, tracking, commanding and ranging services of INSAT series of satellites. MCF is located in Salagame Road about 9 kms from Hassan town of Karnataka.

Applications are invited for the following temporary post but likely to continue indefinitely at the INSAT Master Control Facility, Hassan:

1 SSLC with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate + one year experience as Stenotypist/Stenographer in any Institution, Organisation/Government Department
OR
SSLC with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate + Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice of a minimum duration of two years awarded by recognised Central/State Technical Education Board.
OR
Graduate + Certificate of passing typewriting and shorthand awarded by the recognised Central/State Technical Educational board with a minimum speed of 40 and 80 words per minute in typewriting and shorthand respectively.

The candidates should have a minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand (English) and 40 wpm in typewriting (English). Good command over English is essential
The prescribed experience should have been obtained after acquiring the prescribed qualifications. 		Rs.4000-100-6000

ISRO has a well-established policy of periodical evaluation for performance-based promotions and advancement in the Organisation. Candidates appointed to the post of Technical Assistant-B may be considered for review for promotion to the post of Technical Assistant ‘C’ in the grade of Rs. 5500-175-9000 on the rationalised date immediately after successful completion of three years service after undergoing the procedures prescribed by DOS/ISRO from time to time.

General conditions/instructions:

  1. Age limit for the above post is 26 years but relaxable to the extant orders in case of Scheduled Caste candidates and SC candidates who are PH / Ex-serviceman.
  2. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale for the post is a bout Rs. 5,920 + House Rent Allowance as applicable to 'C' class city, if the incumbent does not get the facility of Government accommodation.
  3. The incumbents are liable to be posted in any Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
  4. Applications in plain paper (neatly hand written or typed in A-4 size paper 210 x 297 mm), pasting a recent passport size photograph and attested true copies of certificates/testimonials should be sent in the format given below, duly completing all the columns/information as asked for, to the Senior Administrative Officer, INSAT Master Control Facility, Hassan-573 201 within 15 days from the date of advertisement. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
  5. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
  6. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Organisations should apply through proper channel.
  7. Candidates will have to produce proof of the details furnished in their applications at the time of interview.
  8. Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro second class railway fare by shortest route or bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the railway ticket number or bus tickets, etc.
  9. Applications received without the requisite information and those received after the due date will not be considered.
  10. Organisation reserves the right to short list the applications received and also not to fill up any of the posts, if it so decides.
