Data
coming from various systems at NMRF need to be archived and disseminated
to the end user for various applications . The new archival system
is set up with a 100 CD-ROM and 700 DVD-ROM Jukeboxes attached to
a server. Data dissemination is supported on MOD, CDROM, DAT and Floppies.
Oracle based RDBM is used for the data base management.

NMRF
has established a full-fledged off-line data processing system with
necessary software for user scientists of MST Radar . To support these
user scientists on analysing their experimental data, centre has developed
a versatile data processing package under X Window ( Motif ) on UNIX
and networking environment. The data processing software package ATMOSPHERIC
DATA PROCESSOR is a multi-purpose package with analysing , processing,
disseminating and post processing utility under graphical environment
. This is a user friendly menu-driven software package. The package
supports complete signal processing to extract the atmospheric parameters
such as three first order moments and the wind velocity in three directions.
Extensive graphical support is provided to interpret the data for
scientific purpose.
