The launch of INSAT-3A has been scheduled between 4.19 am and 5.00 am IST on Thursday, April 10, 2003.

The launch was earlier planned for April 9th, which had to be postponed due to a minor anomaly. After extensive simulations and careful analysis by ISRO experts at Kourou and in India, the satellite has now been cleared for launch on Thursday, April 10, 2003.

Doordarshan will telecast the launch live on its national network, starting at 4.00 am.
