ISRO, jointly with the Electrochemical Society of India (ECSI), is organizing an
International Convention on Surface Engineering, "INCOSURF-2004" at
ISRO Satellite Centre, Airport Road, Bangalore, during August 25-27, 2004.
INCOSURF-2004 will bring together specialists from leading R & D
organisations, industries, end users and instrumentation experts in Surface
Engineering to discuss technical aspects, challenges and solutions in the
field.
Mr G Madhavan Nair, Chairman, ISRO will inaugurate the convention at 9 am on
Wednesday, August 25, 2004. Mr A K Saxena, Managing Director, HAL, Bangalore
will be the Chief Guest. Mr Ito Klyomichi, Managing Director, Toyoto Kirloskar
Auto Parts will inaugurate the INCOSURF Exhibition and Dr C G Krishnadas Nair,
President, Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries will preside
over the inaugural function.
About 400 Scientists, Engineers and Technocrats in the field of surface
engineering from India and abroad are participating in the convention. Over 100
technical papers will be presented during the three-days of deliberations. An
exhibition is also arranged on products and equipment related to surface
engineering.
