Research Associateships
 

There will be 3 categories of Research Associateships designed as research as
Research Associateship ‘A’
Research Associateship ‘B’ and
Research Associateship ‘C’
A candiadiate may be awarded one of the categories of these Research Associateships depending upon the merit of the candidate.

Ph.D. in Science or Engineering or equivalent published work of high standard.
M.E./ M.Tech. with 3 years research experience as evidence by published work of high standard or design/development work of quality.

3 Years.

Less than 35 years at the time of applying.

The fellowship amount for JRF and SRFs as shown above are lump sum amount and no other allowances or contingent grant would be payable to them.

The fixation of the Research Associateship in any of the three categories will be based on individual’s performance at the selection, his qualification and experience.

For Research Associateships there shall be periodic review by a suitable committee of the university/institution and based on good progress the amount may be increases subject to the honorarium limits mentioned above. In normal circumstances of satisfactory progress the fellowship amount may be increased by Rs.275 per year subject to the limits specified above. A copy of the recommendations of the committee must be sent to ISRO.
