  • Space Science research carried out at Physical Research Laboratory (PRL),Ahmedabad, Space Physics Laboratory (SPL) at Thiruvananthapuram and ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore.
  • National Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere Radar Facility (NMRF), near Tirupati, is available to scientists for conducting atmospheric research.
  • PRL covers Astronomy and Astrophysics, Planetary Atmospheres and Aeronomy, Earth Sciences and Solar System Studies and Theoretical Physics.
  • Space Physics Laboratory conduct space science research using multiwave length Radiometer, Doppler Sodar, Tower-based wind, humidity and temperature sensors and VHF and HF back-scatter radars.
  • ISRO Satellite Centre undertakes fabrication of scientific satellite payloads as well as analysis of data from the satellite.
  • Gamma-Ray Burst experiment and Retarding Potential Analyser flown on SROSS-C2 satellite which is still in operation.
  • X-Ray Astronomy payload flown on IRS-P3.
